What is the purpose of a guest favor?

Your gift to your guests is “dinner”.
That is your thank you for two things;
their attendance, and the wedding gift.
With the average cost per guest ranging from $75-$175 that’s a pretty nice gift!
A “guest favor” is a gesture, or a token of thanks that they can take with them,
(since the meal was consumed);
something to remember the day.
These should not be expensive gifts.
The favor should be in theme with your wedding,
or something useful after the wedding,
so that each time they use it, it reminds them of you and your day.
Examples:
beach sand in a bottle for a waterfront wedding,
glass coasters with your engagement photo,
an engraved drinking glass,
a measuring spoon set (practical),
bottle opener (practical),
Guest favors range in price from $.75 – $5.00 each.
TIP: Don’t order your favors until after all of your RSVPs are accounted for.
This way you don’t over or under order.
They usually ship within days.
Also, order about 10 extra to allow for breakage during shipping.
