Consider all factors
One venue says their rental fee is $1500.
Another venue says their rental fee is $1400.
But,…
The $1500 venue has silver chiavari chairs and neutral linen.
The $1400 venue has black banquet chairs and charges for the linen.
Let’s say you need to rent ten 60″ round tablecloths, and 100 chiavari chairs.
That’s at least an additional $600, making that $1400 venue, now $2000.
I call it, “the cost of lipstick for the pig”.
You end up spending more money to decorate the less expensive venue!
When you go with a venue that is already designed to your taste,
it takes less money to “dress it up”.
When venue shopping, consider what it will take to make the venue
aesthetically pleasing.
