A lot is changing in our world today, with COVID-19. Uncertainty reigns, but your love is very certain. So, let’s find a way to have your wedding, and make it uniquely you. But how?
The new terms now are “Micro-Wedding” and “Mini-Wedding”. What’s the difference?
A “Micro-Wedding” is just the wedding ceremony. Make it enchanting. Set up a focal point backdrop, have your nuptials with the focus on just the two of you. Very intimate and relaxing. Share your special day with family and friends via livestream or later on social media, but keep it intimate and relaxed.
Now a “Mini-Wedding” is a modified version of your original plans, on a smaller scale, including the ceremony and a brief cocktail hour and even some games, but no dinner. For example, as I write this many “gatherings” are limited to 50 people. No worries. Set up a photographic focal point for the ceremony, have your favorite songs played from an iPod and blue tooth speaker, have your nuptials with parents, or very close family members (not to exceed fifty), end with a “snack bar” of some of your favorite finger foods, have a toast, and a magical send off; all live streamed for all to see, real time.
But wait, what if you have a deposit on your favorite venue and you couldn’t use it, or your favorite band or DJ was paid for. No worries. That’s when you have a “Multi-Celebration Event” Have your Micro/Mini Wedding as scheduled. Book a date one year from your wedding date to have a big one year wedding anniversary celebration, and reschedule everyone to that date!
