I love a cohesive design.
I like to recommend that all stationery for your wedding
have a running theme, design, color palette, etc.
I call it “Suite Stationery”.
Starting with your Save-the-Date announcement,
you are setting the tone for your wedding.
People will begin to assess the type of wedding,
your style, your personality,
and even what they will wear to your wedding,
all from that little piece of card stock.
So, set the tone.
If it’s formal, select an announcement with your color palette and a formal design.
If it’s a casual, rustic wedding, select an announcement
with lot’s of greenery and wood.
Consider this process:
Select your wedding invitation based on your color palette, theme, and personality.
Next, select a Save-the Date announcement that is cohesive with your invitation.
Then, cap it off with “Day-Of-Stationery”
(Programs, Menus, Table Numbers, Place Cards) in that same pattern.
This shows your guests that you really “PLANNED” this entire experience,
and gives them a sense that there will be “order”
and symmetry on your wedding day.
